The Miracle of the Method

Have you ever thought about what Christmas would be like had man written the story instead of God? Would the story of Christ's birth and redemption of mankind have as much impact on us had we written the script or decided how we would be redeemed? I say with as much emphasis as I can: NO!
The Miracle of the Method is that God wrote the story and despite our lack of complete understanding and comprehension of it, it is PERFECT!
God tells us in Isaiah 55 that "his ways are not our ways and His thoughts are not our thoughts." Why is it then, that we try so hard to figure God out? Now, don't get me wrong. There are some aspects of God that we can understand, at least to a certain degree. But at the same time, let's remember that we are not perfect and therefore, we will NEVER fully understand and comprehend God or what He does.
Our position is to simply trust Him and know that His plan will be accomplished as He wills! We are not in a position to question or even judge His decisions and actions. Our position is simply one of trust in who He is and the promises He has made.
So as you Experience the Miracle of Christmas, take time to rejoice in His Method and the miracle of Christmas. Oh, and by the way, "all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose" (Romans 8:28).
