EXPERIENCE THE MIRACLE OF CHRISTMAS

Can you believe it is almost Christmas day?  And we have so much to get done before that day arrives.  We have shopping, decorating, baking, get togethers, and a whole lot more.  How do we even find the time to get it all done?  It seems that no matter how much we plan ahead, we find ourselves overwhelmed by all that needs to get done, and that is not even taking into account our jobs, normal family responsibilities, and regular church activities.  WOW!  Maybe the better question is: Will we get it all done?

Well, I don't know about you, but I sure am glad that whether or not I get all that other stuff done, I can still celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.  As a follower of Christ I have to remind myself that it is not about the decorations, gifts and food that make Christmas so special.  What makes it special is that God loved the world so much that He sent His Son to this earth so that through Him I could have life.

Amidst the next couple of weeks, will you make time to reflect on what Christmas is really all about?  Will you take a moment to "Experience the Miracle of Christmas?"  Will you reflect on the fact that Christ came at just the right time?  That it wasn't by chance or coincidence that Christ came when He did!  Galatians 4:4 tell us that "when the fullness of time came, God sent forth His Son. . ."

We have approximately 446 hours or 2,760 minutes until Christmas day!  Those moments will be filled with many activities but ultimately you will fill them with what you deem important.  I pray that in a few of those moments you take the time to reflect on the "Miracle of the Moment!"
