Missions

Jesus has given the command. Christians are to go into all world and make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19,20, Mark 16:15).  Jesus also told His disciples to be His witnesses in an ever expanding geographical sphere from where they were in Jerusalem, to Judea, Samaria and to the ends of the earth.  It’s clear then that Jesus wants the Good News about Him to be taken to every person in every area of the world.  We at Calvary Baptist Church take Jesus' commands seriously so we take missions seriously.  We strive to follow the example of the church at Antioch who was a witness for Christ in their city, but also sent Paul and Barnabas out as missionaries to proclaim the Gospel Beyond their city.
